The boundary between consumer and clinical data is definitely blurring.

But the deeper issue may not be where the data comes from.

It’s whether the signal still carries the context it needs to remain safe in a clinical setting.

Because once context is lost, it isn’t recoverable from the data alone.

And when those signals begin to reinforce themselves, the system can drift further from reality while still appearing coherent.

The real question isn’t just governance of data flows.

It’s who remains accountable when context degradation leads to real-world clinical consequences.
